12-week Internship Program
For Texas A&M Students

12-week Field
and Operations Internship Program

This isn’t a desk job.

It’s 12 weeks on active job sites with experienced crews doing real work.

We are seeking driven, high-potential students who are ready to step beyond the classroom and into real-world industrial operations. Our 12-week Field and Operations Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the work, the people, and the environments that define our business.

From day one, you will work alongside experienced professionals delivering highly technical field services on active job sites. This is not a passive internship. It’s immersive, fast-paced, and field-driven, with travel and direct exposure to projects that demand attention to detail, accountability, and work ethic.

You will gain insight into both field execution and project operations, developing a foundational understanding of how complex industrial work is performed and delivered. You will be given real responsibility, expected to contribute, and evaluated on your performance.

This program is not about observation. It is about participation.

Program Phases (12 Weeks)

Weeks 1-8

Weeks 1-8

Phase 1

Phase 1

Field Immersion

You'll work in refineries, power plants, and industrial facilities across the country. You work the job. You solve problems and see what this industry looks like from the inside.

This includes exposure to:
  • High-velocity oil flushing of systems

  • Chemical cleaning and system decontamination

  • Pressure testing and system integrity verification

  • Industrial piping and fluid systems purification & maintenance

  • Heat transfer equipment and storage systems cleaning

  • Rotating, reciprocating and stationary process equipment technical process design and services implementation

  • Outage and turnaround execution

  • Jobsite safety leadership

This phase is demanding. It’s physical and requires travel and long shifts during outages and mission-critical projects. It’s also where you build the credibility that defines your leadership potential.

Weeks 9-12

Weeks 9-12

Phase 2

Phase 2

Technical & Project Exposure

After demonstrating technical competence and work ethic in the field, you transition into expanded responsibility. During this phase, you rotate through both core leadership disciplines and shadow a Project Manager and an Account Manager to understand how the execution side and the commercial side work together. This is where you figure out which track fits you.

Project Execution Exposure:
  • Build project schedules

  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and logistics

  • Review drawings and work procedures

  • Track costs and performance metrics

  • Lead portions of jobs in the field

  • Support safety, compliance, and regulatory oversight

Commercial and Account Exposure:
  • Participate in client meetings and technical walkdowns

  • Support proposal development and estimating

  • Identify expansion opportunities within industrial and military accounts

  • Assist in scope development and solution positioning

  • Learn account strategy and long-term relationship management

  • Work alongside Project Managers and Account Managers in active coordination

Message From Our CEO, Kevin Sapp

Why this program is different

You earn exposure through real work.

Hands-on operational and business exposure.

Industrial, energy, infrastructure, and military exposure.

Real-world expectations.

Performance-based opportunity.

Career clarity.

Who Should Apply?

This is for:

Students studying industrial, mechanical, chemical, petroleum, construction, operations, or a related field who want actual field experience, not a resume line.

People who are fine with travel, early mornings, and environments that aren't always comfortable.

Anyone who is motivated by doing solid work and wants to earn an offer based on performance, not charm.

Future leaders who understand that starting at the bottom is how you earn the right to lead.

This is NOT for:

Those who want a predictable schedule and a comfortable office. The work is physical. The hours are real. The travel is significant. We are not apologetic about any of that.
