Frontline Global Services, in collaboration with High Purity Northwest, Inc., successfully executed turnkey Offline System Decontamination, High-Velocity Fluid Flush, Reservoir Decontamination, and Fluid Purification services on Escape Hatch Hydraulic Systems located in Cheyenne, WY, USA. The four-day intensive operation effectively achieved the required cleanliness standards and ensured reliable operations post-maintenance, meeting all outlined specifications.
Project Objectives
Safety and Efficiency
Efficiently minimize equipment downtime while ensuring all operations are conducted safely, protecting personnel and equipment.
Perform High-Velocity Oil Flushing
Perform high-velocity fluid flushing to eliminate system contamination.
Purify Existing System Fluids
Ensure that any remaining fluids meet OEM cleanliness specifications.
Cleanliness Standards
Achieve a final particle count of 16/14/11 or better, per industry standards (API 614), and ensure clean screens free of particulates.
Methodology
Frontline Global Services utilized High-Velocity Fluid Flushing (operating oil) and chemical cleaning processes to achieve thorough system and reservoir decontamination. The operations included precise particle counting and cleanliness verifications against API 614 and ISO 4406:1999 standards. Equipment readiness was validated via screening processes ensuring zero residual contamination, supported by continuous on-site monitoring and real-time documentation throughout the project duration.
Process
Reservoir Decontamination (Initial): Initial cleaning and flushing of the reservoir to remove major contaminants and construction debris.
High-Velocity Oil Flush: Pressurized oil flushing throughout the lubrication system using operation oil to remove finer particulates and contaminants.
New Fluid Purification Process: Circulate and filter newly added fluids to ensure they meet ISO 16/14/11 or better.
