

Why we don't charge for a walk-down
I just got a call from one of the unit operators. He asked me to come down there and do a project walk-down. Then he asked me a weird question: "Hey, is there going to be a charge for this walk-down?"
I said, "Why would we charge you for a walk-down?"
He said, "Well, there are other companies out there, your competitors, that we've called before. They come into the plant and they're like, 'Oh, no, it's going to be $1,000 for me to come and take a look at stuff.'"
I told the operator straight up that we never charge for a system walk-down. If you're having an issue or a problem, we're there to solve it. We're not there to create more issues or problems. So, if you ever need us, whether or not we're on site, we will come and do this. A system walk-down or a job walk for us is an all-inclusive thing.
